About the Journal
Wayamba Journal of Management is a refereed journal published by the Department of Business Management, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka biannually. The Department of Business Management and the editorial board reserve the right to determine the structure and design of the journal. Each prospective article will be reviewed by relevant experts and the Department of Business Management will commit to publish only the original contributions to the field of Business Management by respective authors from Sri Lanka and abroad.

Aim
WJM as a peer reviewed Journal published bi-annually is committed to publish scholarly, empirical and theoretical research articles that have a high impact on the field of management and other related areas. The main aim of the of WJM is to contribute to the diffusion of original and thought-provoking knowledge by publishing inspired research reflective of the latest theory and practice. The Journal is devoted to focusing and discussing the issues at local and global management entities. It has been designed to serve the audience of academic researchers, business professionals, policy makers and educators by providing theoretical and managerial implications useful for further development of research. The WJM team strives to maintain a constructive parity between innovations and their quality while upholding the forefront of academic dialogue in the field of management. WJM will publish the manuscripts that expand the frontiers of the field and impact the knowledge and the practices of readers and the community at large.
Scope
WJM covers the domains of management and all the other management related areas such as Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Business Technology, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Business Economics, Accounting and Finance. In the key fields, WJM promotes constructive dialogues between proponents and opponents on the current emerging managerial issues, theories and practices. WJM also welcomes rigorous, non-traditional, qualitative and mixed-method inquiries which extend the capacity of exploring and understanding the important phenomena and academic spaces. The literature reviews and essays based on rigorous review of literature which provide a forum to well-developed and articulated arguments contribute to the disciplines related to management are under the purview of WJM. The scope of the Journal also covers latent and timely ideas that encourage the scholarly interest and conversations opening the avenues for further research studies. The papers covering evaluations of popular management techniques, successful or failed interventions based on real experiences are also welcomed as reflections of experiences.
